To maintain the "new" look of your suit (Cotton, Wash-and-Wear, or Winter blends), follow these steps:
- The Pre-Soak: Always soak unstitched fabric in plain, room-temperature water for 3–4 hours before tailoring.
- The Wash: Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that strip the fabric's natural strength.
- The Dry: Never wring or twist the fabric. Hang it to air-dry in a shaded area; direct sunlight is the enemy of rich colors.
3. What is the best way to iron my suits?
For a crisp, laundry-finish look, iron your fabric while it is slightly damp. Use a medium heat setting and always iron on the reverse side to prevent "shiny" marks, especially on darker winter shades.
